    To read at night, children need light. But in Africa, about 600 million people don’t have electricity, and many of them can’t afford kerosene oilParaffinkerosene oil for lamps. Now, Innocent James, from Tanzania, has found a solution: backpackRucksackbackpacks with solar panels that charge sth.etw. aufladencharge battery-powered reading lights. His company, Soma Bags, sold 36,000 backpacks across Africa last year, and is working with charities and fashion companies around the world to sell the backpacks.
